Folk Bhangra is not what you've seen in movies. It's a harvest celebration from Punjab. Raw, high-energy, and centuries old. The footwork you learn here is the real thing, not a studio adaptation.
Once you have the foundations our coaches teach, you can apply them to any Punjabi music. Old or new. Traditional or modern. The scaffolding holds everything.

Our head coach Shiv brings real Punjabi folk tradition. Trained from age five in Jalandhar, Punjab, learning directly from traditional gurus.
When KC Bhangra was founded in 2019, it started with five students and a simple belief: Kansas City needed a home for authentic Bhangra, open to everyone.
Today, 250+ students later, the approach hasn't changed: build the real foundations, let people apply them wherever the music takes them.
